Alex Daves

My name is Alex Daves, I go to Moberly Area Technical Center, in the health sciences program.

Favorite Essential Element: I believe that one of the most important essential elements of the framework is communication. Communication is a skill needed by everyone in nearly every situation. In every job, you need to communicate. 

My future looks like: My goal in life is to become a doctor and communication skills are definitely needed in that job as well as in any job.

Something unique about me: I have moved very often so I am very used to meeting new people. I was born in Minot, North Dakota but I moved many times. I’ve moved from Las Vegas to California, and throughout Southern California and to Colorado before somehow ending up here in Missouri. Every time I moved was very sudden for me, but I still worked through them and adapted.

 Advice to Members: My advice for everyone is that in sudden changes or situations, just power through it and overcome the challenges you have. Even if it may seem hard, you’ll always get through it if you keep going. I like to think that the more you go through, the more you learn and grow.
