Tatyhanna Peach

Hi I’m Tatyhanna Peach from the Northland Career Center, in the Health Sciences program.

Favorite Essential Element:  My favorite essential element is communication, because I believe that good communication is the foundation of business success. With powerful communication you can change the belief of an entire community and organization, or properly run a functioning industry.

My future looks like: In the future I plan to attend College in Colorado and get my Nursing Degree, after my degree is obtained I will work between the E.R. and Labor and Delivery until I make a final decision on my career from that point on. This will allow me to gather experience in a wide variety of careers.

Something unique about me: I spend my time working as a Patient Care Tech at Liberty Hospital taking great care in the health of my amazing patients. Even when I’m tired and down I acknowledge that my actions not only reflect upon my Coworkers, but my patients as well. So I always remember to start work with a smile. 

Advice to Members: My advice for SkillsUSA Members is to always start the day with a clear state of mind and take everything a single step at a time. Even when you feel like a wave is crashing down on you, small steady strokes through the water will take you farther than frantically panicking in the ocean. You’ve got this!!
